These Terms and Conditions apply to the hire of our caravans SP85 and
SP86
- Devon Cliffs,
Sandy Bay is a Family and All Action Site, so in keeping with park
guide lines we do not allow groups of young persons or the same sex.
- Pets
We do not accept any pets in our caravan.
- Smoking
We do not allow smoking in the caravan.
- Parking
/ Vehicles
Please ensure that your car is parked without obstruction to other
guests.
The area to the right (Side of the doors) is allocated to each caravan.
All vehicles are parked and driven on the park at the owner’s
risk.
There is a strict 10mph speed limit on site.
The Road Traffic Act applies to all vehicles on site.
- Rubbish
The park provides ample large refuse bins for litter and rubbish.
Guests are asked not to leave refuse bags outside the caravan.
- Neighbouring
Vans
Guests are asked to keep noise at night to an absolute minimum.
Please observe the privacy of neighbouring caravans.
- Bedding
Duvets and Pillows are supplied on each bed.
Guests must supply sheets, duvets covers, pillowcases and towels,
etc.
Bedding is available for hire through the shop.
- Occupation
Times
The caravan is inspected and cleaned by an onsite cleaning team and
us.
To ensure the highest standard, the van will not be available until
5pm on the Saturday and we ask the caravan is vacated by 10am on the
day of departure.
- Insurance
It is recommended that you purchase some form of holiday insurance
from a local broker to cover your personal luggage, precessions, monies
holiday cancellation etc.
This type of cover if fairly standard and not too costly, as all personal
precessions are left at owner’s risk.
- Park
Rules
The park rules are displayed on the park, Please ensure that you and
your party comply with these at all times.
- Devon Cliffs
is a family holiday park, individuals causing nuisance to other holidaymakers
or site staff may be asked to leave. In these circumstances no refunds
will be made.
The caravan is only available for rent by families and responsible
couples. The park will not allow all male or all female partie
- Paying
The Balance
If the balance for your holiday is not received by the due date, then
your holiday will be treated as a cancellation. Proof of postage will
not be accepted as receipt.
Paperwork will be sent once payment has cleared.
- Cancellation
If you have to cancel your holiday, you must notify us in writing.
The date of cancellation is the day when we receive written notification.
In the event of cancellation, a sliding scale of charge apply as laid
out below:
If you cancel more than 28 days before your start date, your deposit
will be forfeit.
If you cancel 21-28 days before holiday start date: 50% forfeit.
If you cancel 14-20 days before holiday start date: 60% forfeit.
If you cancel 13 days or less before holiday start date: 100% forfeit.
- Damage
The caravan must be left in a clean and tidy condition.
The hirer is responsible for all members of the party.
The Hirer will be held responsible for any damage to the caravan,
contents and any loss of income resulting from that parties’
actions.
Should a court case result, the hirer will be liable for the court
costs.
A £50 security
deposit will be added to the balance payment and will be returned
within 14 days following your departure should the caravan be deemed
clean and tidy to an acceptable level and free of damage. You must
notify the caravan owner immediately of any damage caused during your
stay.
